Last weekend, we had the 3rd snow-shoe half day tour!
I always feel glad that people met each other first time on our tour,
But we were harmonious atmosphere and very friendly as well,
So this was good for everyone!
We took the group photo.
After the guide’s greeting,
We entered the Caldera Sabo Museum.
A long time ago. ..
When snow and rain fell too much around the Mt.Tateyama mountain range,
The Joganji river was overflowed many time,
So the “Caldera sabo” have been controlling water running.
We were on the map of Toyama prefecture!
The explanation from the guide was easy to understand.
Even in March, there was still so much snow around Tateyama Station.
Many repeat customers were joining our tour again!
Thanks you so much.
We stopped on the way,
The guide told us the reason “why the branch of tree is peeling off?”
Oh my! Animals were eating them.
Guide said,
It’s trouble that animals will come to eat vegetables in the our fields after spring,
But they only have little food during the winter, so i wonder if it can be helped…
What is the good points of “Snow-shoe”?
We can walk every where we want on the snow,
because we normally can’t go if there are some bushes.
We don’t walk under the train track usually,
So i was exciting to have a special feeling like this situation!
