I joined 1 day tour where Ashikuraji village, its foot of Mt.Tateyama.
And i will introduce to you about this tour today!
Toyama Tourism Organization organized it.
He was warmly welcome to us with his biggest smile,
He is the veteran guide mane is Mr.Mimoru at Ashikuraji village and he was born and raised here as well.
He played japanese drum at the begining of this tour and i felt so excited!
And then after we listened to stories and histories of Mt.Tateyama from him…
Lunch Time! for Asikuraji’s full-course was the things we looked forward to the most today!
The village people picked ”Sansai as heabaceous plants grown in the mountain” up by them hand one by one around this mountain area.
They using these plants and tried to cook same “Syukubo” food who offered it to the gests.
What “Syukubo” is ..?
It’s pilgrim’s lodging in a temple”. it was ages ago..
The pilgrim is about temple and mountain of god so food have to be “Buddhist vegetarian meal”,
So many different dishes on the tray!
I was satisfied by this great meal.
The food was made with local mom’s love and absolutely delicious.
We changed pilgrim’s white kimono dress,
And we visited Tateyama museum and Oyama shrine.
Our dress with shrine were suits us each other!
There is only 1 Syukubo right now we visited here but at that time many Syukubos were in this village.
The garden was so beautiful it took my breath away..
It’s a pilgrim’s ceremony that,
From this world to the other side as afterlife..
Our bad karma will reset when we across this bridge and come back to this side as this world again,
After that we will possible to go heaven, people believing it.
So my feeling was clear and this beautiful mountains view brightened me up, you can see it in this photo.
Anyway…
We are planning to have a same tour for the future for you.
